Central Park Medical Clinic

Our appointment was with Dr.Mona.We are new to Ottawa, and upon checking the reviews I opted to go with the Central Park Medical Clinic. The process was quick and they responded very well to the emails, I was very pleased and surprised.I received an email to confirm my kids' appointment. I arrived 17 minutes late, I know it's my fault but the city was new to me and I was running to pick my daughter from school and getting my toddler ready for the appointment, I didn't make it in time.When I got there, the receptionist said that I was very late (30-40 minutes), I explained that I was 17 minutes late and she said that no my appointment was earlier. Apparently, I should have received 2 emails (1 for each kid) and I only received 1 with the later appointment which made me think that I had forgotten the time and the one they wrote was the correct.She checked with the doctor, and came back saying she couldn't see the kids. The receptionist was very dry and treated me like I had done the worst thing ever. I know they doctor's time is valuable but I have gone to many clinics and waited way more than 17 minutes, I think patients time is valuable too.The doctor didn't even give me eye contact and was cold.They wanted to re-book but I decided to move to another clinic where I can find a bit more compassion and kindness, that's what I used too at Paediatricians offices.

Worse team ever , you can never take appointment when needed, when ur child is sick they are always fully booked and when u ask for appointment to follow up after taking ur kids to emergency or walk in clinic their answer will be sorry we don’t give appointments for follow up these issues should be handled on same day when ur child is sick!!!!!!!They need you just to come when ur kid is in good health!!!!! What’s the point of coming when he is good !! Worst experience ever worst team everI don’t recommend them at alll I prefer to stay without doctor better than staying with this kind of clinic!!!!!!!

We've had extremely unfortunate experiences on multiple occasions with Central Park Medical Clinic. Administrative and nursing staff are extremely unprofessional, disrespectful and inattentive. They can be overhead speaking rudely about other patients and parents, and using foul language in the presence of other families. Communication is poor and the bedside manner of a handful of staff is shocking, especially in a pediatric care setting. Despite this, we have had a good experience overall with Dr. Carly Rabin. Understandably, choosing a physician within the current state of the healthcare system is an impossible luxury. However, as as healthcare professional myself working in primary care, I would not recommend this clinic.

I can't show my appreciation towards the Central Park clinic and staff enough. They are thorough, helpful, and friendly every time we interact with them. My daughter was sick all weekend and Chelsea was able to get my daughter in to see one of the doctors within an hour. When your child is sick, a fast response is what you're looking for, and the clinic does just that. Each of the doctors we have seen (which is many of them) have always been so kind, take the time to explain things and great with the kids.Thank you all!

Very unprofessional staff, right under parents eyes they had a receptionist / trainee apply injection into a seven months old baby WITHOUT parents consent and when credentials were questioned they hid behind their zero tolerance policy and threatened sanctions.Under no circumstances an uncertified person should apply vaccines into babies without parents consent.

Dr. falsetto is an absolute pleasure to have as my daughter’s doctor. She is kind, caring, thorough and really gives the time and attention to each and every appointment. She gives excellent advice and is wonderful with children!

So glad to have both of my daughters as patients here. Dr. Falsetto has been amazing since day 1. The receptionists are always super sweet. The nurses are terrific. Even when my oldest has to get a needle, they are so patient with her. She hates needles, screams and cries and wont stand still. They do everything in their power to make it quick and painless for her. We have only ever had great experiences here.

Dr and Reception staff are OK in their duties I dont have any comments about them they are doing their job within the limits of their role and protecting each others back.I have a comment about one of the nurses who gave my daughter a flu shot.Seeking simple medical advice from her within the time interval I was supposed to be there was a huge mistake as I felt verbally subdued/overpowered/silenced/dominated as I dont have clear words for my feelings when she said in a very aggresive manner I am not a Dr" to my simple questions about my childs health and well beingOn reaching the reception desk I was told that nurses are very busy with data entry work which adds no value no value to my childs health.Later my wife told that the nurse dont want to do more than what the appointment says and she earlier similar issues of not getting any simple medical advice from her with or without a disclaimer."

Late to an appointment by 9 minutes with a newborn and a toddler in tow, and they cancelled our appointment. They rarely get back to you when you call or email. While most of my experiences have been good to great. Holding my 2 month old and being told I'd have to reschedule because I was 9 minutes late is nothing short ofappalling...Lastly, be prepared to have your appointment times changes without much notice.I will add that the service we received from the doctor is wonderful. This is simply a mention of the support staff.

All four of our kids have Dr. Falsetto as their paediatrician here. She has always been very considerate, knowledgeable and helpful at our appointments. The space is small and can feel very cramped when waiting but the appointments are almost always on time and waiting is kept to a minimal in the waiting room.
